BIOGRAPHY

She joined Kim's lab in October 2012 to investigate the neurotoxicity and pharmacokinetics of metals, such as iron and manganese, under nutritional and environmental factor's influence. After my Ph.D., I am currently working at Rubius Therapeutics focusing on creating engineered red cells into new cellular
therapies for patients with rare enzyme deficiencies, cancer, and autoimmune diseases. During the years at Dr. Kim’s lab, I not only learned how to design and perform experiments, but most importantly, how to share, help, to collaborate, and to work as a family. Dr. Kim has provided me with continuous support and tremendous knowledge to allow me to achieve my academic and professional goals. His hard work, intelligence, and scientific way of thinking have always been motivating me throughout my Ph.D. life and will continue to influence me in my future career.
